Sooo… I’m a yogini, but I also happen to be a beauty junkie of sorts. 🙂 You see, I’ve worked in beauty for most of my career—as a magazine beauty editor for the first couple of years, and a beauty copywriter in recent years. I currently head copy for a haircare brand.
That said, I don’t shop for products that often (so I probably shouldn’t be calling myself a “beauty junkie,” har). From time to time, I do indulge in some treats.
After a former boss’s baby’s first birthday party downtown and before Sunday mass at St. Agnes in midtown, I had time earlier today to browse the M.A.C. store in Grand Central. I went in to get a new tube of my go-to berry lipstick, Rebel, and came out of the shop with two other lip gems, Syrup, a lustrous lip-toned rose; and Lip Conditioner, a true salve for parched winter lips. (My original plan was to get Aquaphor from Duane Reade.)
Have any objections about me publishing this on my twitter?
