How’s everyone’s summer coming along? Mine has been quite hectic; a blur of activity. With yoga now practically taking over any free time I have outside of work, this blog has constantly been pushed to the backburner. So if you’re reading this, please know that I’m grateful for your time. 🙂
And I’ve JUST updated the template, hope you are loving it as much as I do! 🙂 [UPDATE 12/30/15: I’ve since switched to this current template since the previous. It was this cute Eighties-inspired theme, check it out!]
Earlier this week, we had our company summer outing at Echo Lake Stables in Newfoundland, New Jersey, followed by a barbecue lunch and winery tour at Clearview Vineyard in upstate Warwick, New York. It was really nice to be out and about getting some sunshine and fresh air. I felt a noticeable difference in my well-being after a day of being out in nature…This coming from someone who technically prefers to be lounging in a hotel room versus hiking.
Loooved the horses and horseback riding (walking) in particular. Horses are such beautiful, benevolent, strong beings. Yeah, my husband and I are huge fans of the Budweiser Super Bowl commercials. 😀
Here are some pics from the day trip.

This pic doesn’t quite give the place justice. But it does show how beautiful the day was—perfect weather with clear blue, sunny skies.

These horses are truly beautiful, benevolent…and strong!

So I discovered that there are two ways to steer a horse: European, with two hands—which I learned back in February at my cousin’s—and Western, with one hand, pictured here.

Be back soon, loves!
PS—
ALMOST forgot to include this lovely pic of the beautiful Manhattan skyline on the George Washington Bridge en route back from our New York summer outing!
