As much as I’m a summer girl at heart (two words: single layering), the reality of Fall/Winter 2014 is upon us. In the northern hemisphere, sweaters come out of storage along with lots of black. But then again, since when did the change of seasons stop New Yorkers from donning black year round? 😀
If we’re going to be technical about it, the autumn equinox is still a good three weeks away, but for some reason, Labor Day weekend seems to be everyone’s barometer for transitioning from summer into fall.
I’ve been eyeing a few pieces here and there. You see folks, as a way to unwind before bed, I like to window-shop online. The beauty of this habit is that I rarely ever make it to check-out—a few clicks in, I’m out and off to la-la-land.
Sometimes, certain items stand out that they make it to the next evening’s browsing session…or even a blog post! These three are still open in tabs:
1) Zara Red Wool Duffle Coat
An instant pop of color when it starts to get gray out.
2) Burberry Buckle Detail House Check Ballerinas
I imagine these going with all the aforementioned black.
3) Ted Baker London Elvena Metal Pointed Court Shoe
They’re the perfect baby pink pumps! And a lot of people must think so too as these shoes are now sold out. :p
